In the Community

Community involvement is very important to David M. Grant Caterers. David's career
of volunteer service includes past president and current member of the
Derby-Shelton Rotary Club and past president and current board member of the
Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley. He is the current chairman of the
Board of Directors of the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce and a current board member
of the Valley United Way. He also is a vice chairman of the Shelton Economic
Development Corp.

His newest passion is as a founding board member of The Valley Community Foundation,
it's main goal being to cultivate new philanthropy in the Valley. In 1998 he was given the
Gold Seal Award, the Valley community's most prestigous recognition for volunteerism.

David's son, David J. Grant Jr. has been active in the community as well. He is currently
a Derby-Shelton Rotarian, on the Board of Directors of the Parent-Child Resource Center
and very active as an advisor to the Valley United Way's Youth Leadership Program. In 2007,
he was honored with the Fairfield County's prestigious 40 Under 40 award for distinguished
business individuals in the community.
